Brown Amala (Elubo) “Yam” Flour. Amala flour is simply instant “raw” yam powder which was created as a way to preserve yam for a longer period of time. At WahalaFree, we simply convert raw yam into powdered form (Elubo). The flour form in brown in colour and when made into fufu, it is dark brown. This type of yam flour is indegeniuos to Yoruba people – Western part of Nigeria.
